COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION(CBE),Call for March intake in Dodoma, Mwanza and Mbeya

The Rector of the College of Business Education invites applications from all students who have completed “A” level, “O” Level studies or Certificate and Diploma Courses from NACTE recognized Institutions to join the following programmes for March intake 2016/2017 Academic Year in its three campuses; Dodoma, Mwanza and Mbeya.
1 (a) Ordinary Diploma in Information and Communication Technology

Entry Requirements

Form six with at least one principal or two subsidiary passes including Mathematics

Form IV with four passes including Mathematics plus Basic Technician Certificate in Information and Communication Technology, Or any Basic Technician Certificate in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Geography.

(b) Other Ordinary Diploma Programs are;

Ordinary Diploma in Marketing.
Ordinary Diploma in Accountancy.
Ordinary Diploma in Business Administration.
Ordinary Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management.
The following are the minimum entry requirements for the other Ordinary Diploma Programs;
Form Six Examination Certificate with at least one principal or two subsidiary passes of the combination subjects or

NTA- Level 4 (Basic Technician Certificate) in the programs applied for

ATEC I (NBAA)

Foundation Stage I (PSPTB/NBMM)

2. (a) Basic Technician Certificate in Information and Communication
Technology.
Entry Requirements

NTA Level 3, or

Form IV with at least four passes with a minimum of “D” grade in both Mathematics and English subjects and/or Form IV Certificate with experience in computing industry of not less than two years.

(b) Other Basic Technician Certificate Programmes are;

Basic Technician Certificates in Marketing

Basic Technician Certificates in Accountancy

Basic Technician Certificates Business Administration

Basic Technician Certificates Procurement and Supplies Management

The following are the minimum entry requirements for the other Basic Technician Certificate Programmes;
National Technical Award (NTA) Level 3 (NVTA - VETA), or

Form IV with at least four passes excluding religious subjects or NABE II with at least three passes in relevant subjects.

PRE – CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME
The College will also run a six week special pre- certificate programme for all students with three and two (3 + 2) passes (from A - D) at their O- Level Certificates for improvement of their entry qualifications. The programme will commence on 29^th February, 2016.

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of TZS 25,000 through:

Dully filled in application forms accompanied with photocopies of academic certificates, transcripts, including birth Certificate and names of sponsor(s) should be submitted before 25^th March, 2016 to the applicants’ Campus of his or her interest.

The courses will commence on 28^th March, 2016
